The school has a very active Smart School council. It involves every pupil in the school because we want every pupil to use their voice and develop their communication skills.
It has three different parts:
- Class Meeting, which is a regular weekly meeting led by different children every time in every class from year 1 to year 6.
- Action Teams, these are groups that are set up by our pupils to run an activity, event or new ideaS.
- Communication Team, who are the important group of pupils which help to run the school council.
The communication team is run by 16 year six children who applied for the job at the end of year 5. They meet every week to discuss new ideas and set questions for the whole school to discuss in class council meetings.
