Over the next few weeks year five will be focusing on ‘The Highwayman’ .
“The Highwayman” is a narrative poem written by Alfred Noyes, first published in the August 1906.
We have already been working on our descriptive settings and discussing and analysing the characters. We will soon be moving on to writing newspaper reports around the poem.
