The children have been amazed by the hatching of our chicks in Reception. The eggs arrived last week in incubators, where the children cared for them, keeping them warm and safe. Eventually, the children were able to witness some of the chicks hatch during the day. This was an amazing experience and encouraged a lot of discussion between the classes.
The children are now looking after the chicks in each class, watching them as they grow and develop. We are so proud of our children, showing such care and interest in our chicks this year. This experience is definitely getting us ready for spring time.
