On Tuesday 6th November, the children in Year 1 had a special visitor called Captain Mark from the Salvation Army.

He explained the importance of Remembrance Day, why we hold a 2 minutes silence and the importance of wearing poppies. The children learnt a lot and we then each made and decoratedĀ a poppy to remember all the hard work the soldiers did. The lovely staff in Year 1 decorated our corridors with the poppies.

We hope you are able to come in and see the corridor and admire the children’s work.
