Year 1 had a special tour of the Dagenham & Redbridge football stadium this week. We visited yet another amazing landmark within our area as part of the Creative Curriculum topic ‘Delightful Dagenham’.
We were kindly shown around the stadium by Denis Lawrence and learnt about how footballers’ train, work and most importantly what they do within the community.
The children were extremely lucky to also meet Lanre Balogun (footballer for Dagenham & Redbridge) who explained what life is like as a professional footballer.
