Year 1 visited Valence house last half term where they explored and compared toys from the past. They looked at the different materials these were made from and how children would play with these toys. Year 1 children really enjoyed playing with the old toys too! They also made their own peg dolls to play with. This was great fun as children made these into exciting characters of their choice from dolls to superheros to mermaids! The peg dolls were then used to act out their own made up stories which were such fun!
