Science – States of Matter letter
Dear Parent/Carer,
Science – States of Matter Day
Year 4 – Tuesday 16th October 2018
As part of our work in Science, children will be taking part in a Science – States of Matter Day. This will give children the opportunity to learn and enjoy, as well as further emphasise their understanding of solids, liquids and gases.
The day will consist of various experiments linked to changes from solids to liquids to gases. If you would like, children are also more than welcome to come to school as a mad scientist!
We are asking for £1.00 to help with the costs of materials for the day. This can be bought into school earlier on in the week and given to the class teacher or bought in on the actual day.
Additionally, we would like to invite parents to come into our classes at 2.30pm to explore, investigate and find out what Year 4 have been learning in Science. We hope you will continue to support us and look forward to seeing you on Tuesday.
