We know that the last few months have been difficult for all our families so we hope you have a fun and relaxing time over the summer.

If you would like to keep your child’s learning ticking over – and we do recommend doing some activities  to keep your child’s mind active – the following resources might help.

We recommend that you child keeps reading over the summer – books, magazines – anything will do.

If your child is still learning their letters and sounds watching some phonic videos on Youtube will be a great help

We sent out some spellings along with your child’s annual report. Helping your child learn these as we do in school will prepare him or her well for September:

Look at the word
Say the word out loud
Cover it up
Write it down
Check you have spelt it correctly with all the letters in the right order
