We are now preparing for the 2020 trip to China.

The school expects to take a group of 20 Year 5 and 6 children to China for 10 days during the Easter holiday next year.

This trip has been incredibly  successfully for the last two years, with excited children returning with memories to last a lifetime.

Some of the highlights of the trip we expect to offer include:

  • A day visit to the Great Wall of China – the children sent a video message home from the top of the wall and then enjoyed a toboggan ride down to the bottom
  • Visit to Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City
  • Time in Chinese Primary Schools – getting to know a Chinese Buddy who will then return to Richard Alibon to see them again later in the year.
  • Bullet train ride to Xi’an to visit to the Terracotta Army and other local sites

If you are interested in this trip do come and find out more at our information evening on Monday 20th May at 3.15pm or 6.30pm in the lower school hall

You will also have the opportunity to meet some of the parents and children who went on the trip this year.

Warning: Spaces are limited so please do not hesitate to inform us of your interest for the 2020 trip.
