Recently we looked at Anti-Bullying in our classes on the theme of Respect. The children discussed ways on how to be kind and respectful to one another and positive ways we can support and care for one another in and around the school.
On Friday 16th November, Year 1 had an amazing workshop about a Story Tree where stories are whispered onto every single leaf and then kept forever. The children made a special wish onto their very own leaf which was then wrapped up in green blanket to be taken onto the Story Tree. The story teller gave the children a great experience, telling her stories through their bodies, songs and puppets which they absolutely loved!
The children even managed to earn extra ‘RESPECT’ wristbands that week!
