Richard Alibon students are now working with ‘Living Streets’ and the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham to improve the local environment.

Students were invited to take part in a survey to look at how, we as local citizens, could improve the area by making it more accessible to walkers. The students main focus was ‘ The Heathway’. Students spent the morning walking around the area focusing on what they liked and how they would improve it. They took photos and as always represented the school with their outstanding behaviour.

Living streets is a UK based charity working with the local authority to encourage and improve the local area so that more and more students walk to school; this, as well as making links with the local community, is very much a part of our school curriculum.
