The school office manages admissions into the nursery while admissions into reception and the school are managed by the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham. For details follow the link below.

Admission into Nursery

The school currently has a small number of places available in the nursery for mid-year admission

Children can be admitted into our nursery, the September following their third birthday. Our nursery offers the 15 statutory hours a week; that is a morning or afternoon session of three hours each day when the school is open during term time.

If the number of requests for a nursery place exceeds the number of places, the

following criteria apply, in order of priority:

  1. Looked after children in the care of the local authority
  2. Children who have brothers or sisters attending the school
  3. Children who have strong medical or social grounds for admission
  4. Children whose home address is in the area served by the school
  5. Children whose parents chose the school on grounds other than those above

Some families are entitled to a full time (30 hours) nursery place with us.

Your eligibility depends on:

  • if you are working
  • your income (and your partner’s income, if you have one)
  • your child’s age and circumstances
  • your immigration status
