We have been celebrating our love for reading within the school by inviting our children to chose stories and share them with other year groups. Year 6 have been visiting the nursery children to read stories to them. The year 6 children read beautifully, with great expression and excitement, engaging our nursery children throughout the story telling. This left the children asking for more stories throughout the day. It was a great start to our morning and we are now hoping to keep this a regular activity throughout the year.
