What a wonderful way to end our academic year! The children in our Early Years year groups celebrated their successes with a range of presentations and parties this summer. Nursery children and their parents/carers were invited to a celebration assembly to acknowledge the children’s fantastic progress and achievements during the year. We created videos, performed songs and the children shared paintings which reflected their favourite memories of their year at Richard Alibon. We all came together to celebrate not only the children’s academic achievements but those life long skills that they have acquired due to great team work between the parents, carers and staff. It was definitely a day where everyone felt proud.

Previous to this, the children were set a task to decorate a cardboard box in our creative area. The staff then helped the children create their own memory boxes, which included items such as a snake toy to remind them of the Snakes Alive visit, a medal for Sports Day, A ‘Magic Train Ticket’ which was linked to a literacy project that took place and many more.

A big ‘thank you’ to Wyatt’s mum and dad for having this cake made for the children and staff. It was delicious!

Children’s memory boxes made by them and filled with memories by the staff.
