Children across the whole school have taken part in an exciting Art project to create a mural in the Reception foyer. We have worked alongside Steve Lawes who is an artist and poet.
Steve inspired the children by showing them his art pieces and then supported the children in portraying their own ideas onto paper. We focussed on our six school values, and the children drew what the values meant to them.
All children who participated really enjoyed taking part and really thought carefully about what they were drawing. They used a range of medium such as colouring pencils, paint and ink.
