This summer we took our Nursery children to Southend. During this trip we attended the aquarium, where we learned all about underwater creatures. The children had opportunities to apply their own knowledge about these creatures, taken from the classroom. The children were able to touch starfish and learn a dance to show how a starfish eats.

After this, we explored the beach and collected shells and interesting pebbles. Before heading back to the coach, the children enjoyed some ice lollies whilst sitting on the beach.  The Nursery staff are so proud of the children’s fantastic behaviour and sensible manner whilst on the trip. We look forward to our next trip with our youngest members of Richard Alibon Primary.
